By highlighting key victims’ rights issues at the International Criminal Court (ICC) today, the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) reinforces its commitment to justice and accountability for victims of mass atrocities around the world.
- The following is a summary of a recently held event, ‘Victims’ Rights in the Early Stages of ICC Proceedings: Stopping the Backslide,’ hosted by the International Criminal Court Bar Association (ICCBA), Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice, REDRESS, Victim Advocates International (VAI), the Coalition for the International Criminal Court (CICC), and FIDH to address the alarming regression in victims’ rights during the initial stages of ICC proceedings.
